A week-long celebration of the Tuna Festival was held last September. It was the City s commemoration of its 42nd Charter day.
The highlights of the festival took place during the second to the last Sunday of September wherein some of the streets of GenSan were crammed with young boys and girls dancing. There was also a parade of Giant Tuna floats with a theme "“Go Global GenSan: We Are Ready for the World".
Tuna Festival 2010 ended with a grand and colorful fireworks display.
Indeed, every General had its share of the festival,
of course celebrating with merriment and pride.
