Photography is discovery. It is a continuous exploration.
We planned to have it as a photography series before the month of October draw nearer to an end. With our silent capturing rifle, we journeyed our way to Isla Parilla, Barangay Ladol, Alabel Sarangani Province for a fun “Chinese-inspired” photo shoot. It is a 15-minute ride from the heart of downtown GenSan.
The first part of the series was last Saturday, October 23, 2010 with Ms. Gwen Koh (a finalist during Ms. Smile 2010 ) as the model. We let her wear an embroidered traditional Chinese costume coupled with fancy white fan, white pearl earrings and a red wooden violin as props.
